The February 26th business meeting was called to order by President Bill. Joe made a motion to accept the minutes. Janet seconded the motion and it passed.
Bill Lowery reported we have $1436.05 in the General Fund, $1848.40 in Youth & Community and $4196.42 in savings. Lynn made a motion to accept the treasure’s report. It was seconded by Joe and passed.
Janet reported that the DJ had been secured for the wine taste. She is reviewing the wine list and flyers are available. She would like Pete to draw up a letter to give to businesses when we ask them to donate. See Janet if you need tickets.
Respect for Law posters will be judged on the 20th at Sulenski’s. The final judging will take place at the following business meeting.
Joann, Bill, Darlene and Lynn will read the submitted essays at Sulenski’s on March 5th at 1:00.
If you know someone interested in 50/50 raffle tickets, please let us know. We will see that they get them. Keep selling!
At the zone meeting Pete suggested we have a zone picnic to promote membership for our clubs. It will be sometime in July. Everyone at the zone meeting thought it was a good idea. A committee will be formed with members from all the zones with Pete as the committee chair. Lynn and Joann will represent Austintown on the committee. Location and details will be discussed.
There was no pot-of-gold since only six members were in attendance.
Bill Lowery will be responsible for dessert for the March dinner meeting.
